The Fire Pit Patio Dressed For Fall

Welcome to the fire pit patio...Sassy is here to greet you! Would you like a hamburger or hot dog? Or...maybe you would like to roast some marshmallows on a cool autumn night. lol...I would invite you over if I could!

We love sitting out here on these cool crisp nights and just relax around the fire. I went all out with the mums this year as you can see. I think they are at their peek now. Unfortunately from here they will just go down hill. Darn! I just love all the color...

As you can see we have a grill/rack inside the pit that can be removed. I meant to take it out for the pics...oops! oh well. I've mentioned before that Kevin does alot of cooking out here, everything from hot dogs to steaks. It's kind of like camping in a way! lol...This is his favorite spot!

I kept the cushions from the spring and summer months. They blended pretty well with the fall colors.

I found the scarecrow pillows at Kirkland's. I thought they were pretty cute!

The whole patio...

You might remember we had a tree replaced last year...well, it died too! I think the stress of 115 temps was just too much. Kevin took out the dead tree (actually he pushed on it and it snapped...he fell and rolled on the ground...LOL! I'm sure he didn't want me to tell you that) Anyway, since the magazine was coming I spruced up the hole in the ground with a scarecrow, mum, and pumpkins. Better than a dead tree! lol....

Well, that's the fire pit patio dressed for fall! We have some good times out there...

I will have a fall giveaway soon! I'm getting some things together.

I am also listing several new items in my Etsy store over the next few days. I had to put things on hold for a while, but I will be restocking now.

I am also going to show you Chase's room...it's done, all except for a few accessories here and there. The solid black bedding had to go...I'll show you what I did soon.

I'm joining Susan at BNOTP for Met Monday and Carrie at Dittle Dattle for Amaze Me Monday and Kim at Savvy Southern Style for Wow Us Wednesday.

Beautiful, Kristen! This looks like a great area to sit and just enjoy with your family or with some friends. I love mums when they are at this point, too. I've enjoyed seeing them used all around the new neighborhood.

Hi Sassy and Kristen!
She is too cute. I hope she made it into the magazine. That would be adorable to see her.

Your colorful mums are gorgeous! Wow! Can you believe I didn't even buy any this year? It's the first time I haven't since we have lived in this house. It must be my desire to move. I feel blah with my decorating and can't wait to get started on the new home.

I love what you did with the dead tree spot. That looks great.

Enjoy your yard. I'll take a burger please. Yum! :)

Great patio project! I love sitting around our little "portable" fire pit. We use it on the back patio most of the time but take it out front to the driveway for Halloween night. I envy all your gorgeous Mums...
